The primary responsibilities of the Shipping Operator Level 1 are to pick orders efficiently, ensuring accurate quantity and type of product are picked to guarantee correct product is ready to pack and ship to Scentsy Consultants and customers.


**This position is Monday-Friday from 7:00 am - 3:30 pm at our Coppell, TX location**


Essential Responsibilities:


• Read product quantities and descriptions on pick tickets and pick corresponding product from established zones
• Place product from each zone onto a cart and move to packing area
• Examine product quality and discard defective product in appropriate locations
• Maintain workflow through pick lines while maintaining accuracy and pace
• Develop and apply basic skills in picking procedures and techniques


Additional Responsibilities:


• Occasionally assist with shipping box construction
• Occasionally assist with loading of UPS trucks for outgoing shipments
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Occasionally assist with packing of picked items
• Troubleshoot straightforward problems and seek guidance as needed
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed


  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 0-1 year experience in a distribution environment


  • Obtain and apply working knowledge of Scentsy products, SKUs, and approximate locations within picking zones
  • Expected to apply basic communication and customer service skills with other       employees
  • Perform duties under direct supervision
  • Support a positive work environment
  • Be flexible and willing to support new ideas, concepts, procedures, and techniques
  • Participate in the communication within the department
  • Complete all required training and assessments outlined by Human Resources and leadership
  • Maintain quality and quantity standards as outlined by leadership
  • Maintain performance appraisal standards as outlined by Human Resources and leadership
  • Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules as outlined by the   Company
  • Work scheduled hours; some overtime may be required
