We are looking for someone with all of the above qualities to architect, manage, and execute an optimized Digital Content Marketing strategy for the Scentsy Blog, Email, and Web Content.  These programs will be designed as primary marketing channels to promote the Scentsy opportunity, products, and programs and leveraged across Consultants, Customers, Prospects, Media, and Partners.

Responsibilities

  • Define the digital content marketing strategy and integrated framework that aligns customer, Consultant, and executive platforms across core digital platforms with a focus on web, email, and blog
  • Partner with the Consultant Engagement, Product Marketing, Marketing, and Communications teams to identify key business objectives, priorities, and optimized balance of engagement, entertainment, and utility content
  • Design, create, and execute the Scentsy web content strategy aligned with the prioritized Consultant Calendar
  • Architect a holistic contextual blog strategy for Consultants, customers, prospects, and media partners
  • Evaluate and evolve existing Scentsy email programs to deliver an integrated email strategy and execution plan
  • Design and manage the strategy for a robust contact management strategy optimized for the relevant audience
  • Identify and integrate digital content best practices to position Scentsy as a market-leading fragrance company
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure quality imagery, content, and relevant collateral are delivered in a timely manner
  • Develop success metrics and track and report on the effectiveness of the integrated digital content marketing strategy
  • Collaborate with Marketing Technology team to identify technology solutions needed to align our digital content needs

  • 40 hours per week is typical, but willingness to rise to the occasion in crunch-time is a must
  • Occasional travel may be required

Qualifications

  • 5 years of proven marketing, public relations, social media, email, and digital content communications experience in a consumer goods, fashion, or retail business
  • 3 years directly managing content strategy for web, blog, email, and social for a consumer organization
  • Experience holding lead roles in Marketing, Digital, Email, and/or Content Strategy is highly desired
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Social Media Marketing, or a related field

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of web, email, blog, and social content strategy.
  • Experience aligning content and related cadence across digital and social platforms
  • Experience building Integrated digital content marketing strategies, frameworks, and execution plans
  • Demonstrated knowledge of creating and managing integrated content strategies and techniques
  • Digital marketing, email and social media prowess and knowledge of social marketing techniques
  • Powerful collaboration skills across a variety of personalities, levels, and regions
  • Self-starter who can drive the creation and delivery of complex strategies and plans
  • Ability to deliver, execute, and optimize an effective content strategy
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in fast-paced environment
  • Ability to contribute from strategy and planning phases to execution
  • Ability to work seamlessly, collaboratively, and positively across teams and functional boundaries
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute communications plans that meet success metrics and are delivered on time and on budget
