The primary responsibility if the Tax Intern is to assist the Finance Department with preparing domestic and international indirect tax returns.


• Prepare indirect tax returns and supporting documentation
• Assist with the compilation of various financial information reports to support tax compliance and accounting
• Perform tax research
• Assist with special tax projects i.e. audits, report requests, and special enhancements


Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed



• Adhere to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules as outlined by the Company
• Expected to work 15-20 hours per week during the school semester with the possibility of additional hours over the summer


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong computer skills; specifically in the use of Excel and other MS Office applications
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Clear and direct written and verbal communication skills
• Interest in Tax is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require walking or standing up to 10% of the time
• Ability to frequently read, comprehend, write, perform basic mathematic calculations, communicate orally, reason, and analyze
• Ability to occasionally bend, squat, stand, walk, push, pull, and perform manual dexterity
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 15 lbs.


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Some related work or internship experience a plus
  • Must be a full-time student seeking a Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree in Accounting
  • Minimum cumulative G.P.A. of 3.3
  • Late Sophomore/early Junior status within major is preferred
