The primary responsibility of the Manufacturing Production Planner is to manage the production planning for all onsite Scentsy manufactured product, as well as act as the key cross-functional communication member between Supply Chain and Warehouse. Additionally, to the Manufacturing Production Planner will accurately plan capacity and align output to the daily, weekly, and monthly Material Requirements Planning (MRP) program.


• Run Master Production Schedule (MPS) to update priority planning within SAP
• Generate and prioritize a run list (list of production orders) for each manufacturing line
• Release daily production orders for each line using SAP
• Work with Manufacturing teams and supervisors to maintain production priorities
• Communicate with the Supply Chain department regarding issues in meeting the outlined production schedule
• Ensure component materials are available to meet production priorities
• Follow-up with purchasing to expedite missing materials
• Expedite priority changes with Manufacturing teams and supervisors
• Close production orders within SAP upon completion of the run

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage other projects and assignments within Manufacturing, as determined by the Manufacturing Manager
• Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed


• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 5+ years of manufacturing experience with capacity ERP planning
• 3+ years of SAP experience preferred



• Work will typically be performed on day shift; expected occasionally to check in on grave and swing shifts
• Expected to wear necessary safety equipment as dictated by the work area (e.g. safety glasses, closed-toed shoes, dust mask, hard hat, respirator, face shield, hearing protection, chemical apron, gloves, etc.)
• Adhere to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules as outlined by the Company
• 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Superior math, statistical, and analytical skills with the ability to perform complex mathematics calculations
• Ability to micromanage forecasting and planning
• Ability to produce complex forecasting models
• High degree of numeracy and analysis
• Advanced understanding of forecasting and planning tools
• Highly analytical with strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to produce strong results under pressure and on a deadline
• Strong analytical and trend analyses, complimented with sound business judgment
• Strong understanding of product manufacturing processes and procedures
• Clear and direct written and verbal communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks
• Working knowledge of computers and all applicable software including Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills are a must
• Strong ERP system skills, SAP experience preferred, and MRP system skills
• Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking up to 10% of the time
• Frequently exposed to moving machinery, strong scents, and loud noise
• Must withstand frequent exposure to vibration, and occasional cleaning chemicals
• Ability to work at a computer station and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
• Ability to occasionally bend, squat, stand walk, push and pull, reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible, and perform manual dexterity
• Ability to occasionally lift 20+ pounds
