Overview

The primary responsibilities of the Program Manager are to develop, execute, and manage industry leading award and recognition programs that engage Consultants and Customers.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the life-cycle of award and recognition programs from strategic planning to monitoring and analyzing
  • Review current programs and recommend improvements on recognition opportunities
  • Develop launch plans for new or revised programs
  • Research and analyze industry trends to identify new and interesting methods of recognition
  • Manage multiple congruent projects that support overarching programs: track and resolve issues, and manage and track timelines, deliverables, and approvals
  • Work effectively with resources from all areas of the business and across team boundaries
  • Work closely with other Program and Project managers to evaluate program alignment with the strategic vision of the company
  • Gain buy-in for changes from key stakeholders and retain buy-in through communication, organization, transparency, and a collaborative and positive approach
  • Ensure the alignment of resources and communication across teams to deliver high-quality and complete programs
  • Conduct research to identify industry trends, gain industry knowledge, and consider new inventive ways to deliver engaging consultant an customer experiences
  • Collaborate with Consultants to test, collect, manage, and evaluate feedback

Additional Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Gather data, create reports, track metrics, and work cross-functionally to ensure accurate reporting
  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • 4 years of experience leading project or programs
  • 2 years of experience in the direct selling industry preferred

  • Adhere to all established procedures, policies, and safety rules as outlined by the Company
  • 40 hours per week; some overtime may be required
  • Occasional travel may be required

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Knowledge of Portfolio and Program Management structures
  • Demonstrated ability managing a portfolio of programs (versus a single program)
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with high level of creativity and strategic ability
  • Must be detailed oriented with good business process management skills and be able to prioritize in a constantly changing environment
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment under the pressure of deadlines
  • Ability to develop strong, collaborative relationships within teams and across boundaries
  • Strong knowledge of the direct selling industry
  • Outstanding communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
  • Excellent organization, work coordination, and follow through skills
  • Strategic view of how initiatives/changes will impact the company, teams, projects, and processes
  • Provide influence to drive projects, strategic initiatives, and change
  • Working knowledge of computers and all applicable software including proficiency in the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Work is generally sedentary in nature, but may require standing and walking up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work at a computer station and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
