Overview

Performs research, writes reports, and analyzes date for the engineering lead.

Responsibilities

  • Follows a specified process
  • Logging returns orders and analyzing the data
  • Creates reports from data
  • Inspecting incoming merchandise- finished goods (audit) across multiple brands 
  • Quarantine any problem merchandise and notify QA Supervisor.
  • Project reworks work by assignment
  • Samples raw goods and runs through the testing machines.
  • Apply basic communication and customer service skills.
  • Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules as outlined by the Company.
  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed.
  • Follow detailed instructions.
  • Solve straightforward problems and seeks guidance as needed.
  • Research, gather and analyze information related to specific assignments.
  • Make decisions within a limited scope. Integrate knowledge of basic concepts, principles and theories of area of specialization.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Previous background working with AQL standard preferred
  • Attention to detail
  • Accuracy of log report
  • Do testing as/if needed

Qualifications

  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks.
  • Accurately enter data into computer and acquire a working knowledge of any software applications applicable to the position.
  • SAFETY  CONCIOUS-
  • Perform basic mathematics calculations.
  • Read reports, computer screens, etc.
  • Perform task requiring manual dexterity (i.e. processing paperwork, filing, stapling, sorting, etc.)
  • Sit for extended periods of time bend kneel, lift. 
  • Must be able to stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to lift 40 pounds.
    Must be teachable, innovative, and a quick learner.
    Expected to work 40 hours/week. Some overtime may be required.

 

Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Must have working knowledge of computers and all applicable software.
  • Ability to (sit or stand) for extended periods of time.

Education and Experience Required:

  • Associates Degree or relevant experience
  • 0-2 years of experience
