Overview

Scentsy is excited to announce an UX Internship opportunity in our Marketing & Creative department! In this position, you will support the Digital Experience team with testing, quality assurance, and customer feedback in order to support their efforts to develop user interface concepts, wireframes, prototypes, and design comps

Responsibilities

 

Here’s a snapshot of responsibilities:

UX/UI Design

  • Assist our UX/UI Designers with building wireframes, interactive prototypes and design comps.

 

User Testing

  • A/B & Multivariate Testing
    • Assist in outlining the hypothesis statement of each test
    • Test set-up
    • QA testing of tests
    • Communicate to stakeholders on testing
    • Analyze results
  • User Testing
    • Assist in outlining a testing plan
    • Building the user test
    • Watching, Annotating, and outlining main findings

 

 

Qualifications

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with usability design tools and techniques for wireframing, prototyping, card sorting, information architecture, usability testing, contextual inquiry, and task analysis
  • Knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools, i.e. Sketch, InVision, Axure, Balsamiq, or Omnigraffle, etc., Sketch & InVision most preferred
  • Understanding of information architecture, interaction design, general web-user interface, mobile-responsive environments, and mobile application design standards.
  • Knowledge of experience maps, workflow diagrams, wireframes, and working wireframe prototypes
  • Basic understanding of conducting usability test plans, user research, and concept testing
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Able to communicate effectively to technical/non-technical audiences both verbally and in writing
  • Must have working knowledge of computers and applicable software

 

To be considered, you must:

  • Provide link to a portfolio website at time of application
  • Possess your high school diploma or equivalent and be working towards an Associates, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Graphic or Web Design, Interaction Design, Human Computer Interaction, Human Factors, or related field
  • Have some knowledge of wireframing and prototyping tools, i.e. Sketch, InVision, Axure, Balsamiq, or Omnigraffle, etc., Sketch & InVision most preferred
