    We are in search of a creative and motivated Photographer to join our team! This person will combine their artistic talent, technical expertise, and composition skills to produce imagery that provides a visual story that fits within the Scentsy brand.

    Things You Would Do:

    • Translate Creative Director’s vision to capture dynamic still photography in the studio, on location, and at events
    • Photography requirements include: styled products, isolated products, lifestyle, headshots, and events
    • Direct professional and non-professional talent from all age ranges while on set shooting
    • Design lighting and composition on photo shoots
    • Oversee color management and post-production photography for both print and web (e.g. edit and enhance imagery through color correction, clipping paths, masking, cropping and image modification)
    • Collaborate and participate in brainstorming sessions with Creative teams to ensure creative goals are met and delivered accurately
    • Manage all image assets, cataloging, and organizing the imagery on corporate servers
    • Collaborate with Creative team on all aspects of the photography process including styling, lighting, editing, and color correction
    • Collaborate with other departments to understand photographic needs and develop a strategy to execute
    • Troubleshoot and plan for anticipated problems during shoots or projects
    • Manage photo equipment inventory and maintenance and maintain photo studio
    • Assist in estimating production costs and tracking budget, as well as research and recommend capital expenditure as related to imaging and departmental growth as directed


    You Should Have:

    • Bachelors degree in relevant field OR equivalent work experience
    • Professional photography experience
    • Ability to work 40 hours per week (some overtime may be required including occasional nights and weekends) and travel occasionally, based on business needs

    Things You Should Know & Be Able To Do:

    • Have a thorough knowledge of and demonstrated ability with DSLR cameras, photography processes, and corresponding equipment
    • Have a demonstrated knowledge of color correcting in CMYK color proofing profiles for large printer presses
    • Expert knowledge of Macintosh computers and all applicable Adobe software including Photoshop, Bridge, and Lightroom
    • Knowledge of CaptureOne a plus
    • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects components at a fast pace under pressure
    • Strong knowledge of studio and location lighting and related equipment
    • Motivated to learn new skills and new approaches
    • Strong verbal and interpersonal communications skills
    • Self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
    • Ability to be flexible and adaptable and work collaboratively in a team environment
    • Thorough understanding of prepress, image quality, and outputs
    • Ability to move around and lift equipment as needed to shoot photographs (this includes ability to frequently sit, stand, walk, bend, squat, push and pull, reach above shoulder level, and perform manual dexterity, as well as occasionally crawl and climb and lift up to 40lbs.)
