  • Overview

    Scentsy is looking for a UK based Regional Marketing & Communications Associate to introduce and promote Scentsy products and programs to the European, Australia, and New Zealand markets in ways that encourage Consultants to sell and recruit; customers to buy; and prospects to join.  This is a work from home position, but you must live in the UK to be considered.

     

     

    What You Would Do:

     

    Strategise (15%)

    • Strategise, plan, execute, and manage clear and concise holistic regional Go-To-Market (GTM) plan for new products, categories, and programs to increase sales, recruiting, customer engagement, and customer brand advocacy across Europe, Australia and New Zealand , inline with global plans
    • Ensure GTM strategies align with overarching business and marketing objectives, developed by Emerging Marketing Strategy, regarding: consumer personas; market opportunities; purchasing processes; brand attributes and values; and differentiated product and program positioning
    • Align with Integrated Marketing and Social Media Home Office based teams to Identify campaigns and content that can be leveraged into the region

    Develop (25%)

    • Develop sales and promotional plans to drive awareness and interest through Consultant channels and internal marketing programs
    • Develop regional demand generation plans to amplify and elevate campaign and content performance based on regional business goals and expectations
    • Support Country Managers withbuilding Consultants marketing prowess within the regions
    • Collaborate with the Integrated Marketing Home Office based team to build regional campaign ROI models
    • Develop realistic timelines and budgets for marketing plans and ensure plans are executed accordingly

    Coordinate & Execute (25%)

    • Execute holistic regional Go-To-Market (GTM) plan for new products, categories, and programs to increase sales, recruiting, customer engagement, and customer brand advocacy across Europe, Australia and New Zealand , inline with global plans
    • Coordinate with appropriate teams to ensure Consultants, Consultant Support, and employees are prepared for launch of new marketing strategies by utilising proper change management techniques, excellent communication skills, and training
    • Ensure initiatives, news, and activities are successfully communicated via the Workstation (Consultant facing intranet)- working with Home Office teams and / or in-market for local initiatives
    • Work collaboratively with creative teams to ensure quality imagery, content, and culturally relevant collateral are delivered in a timely manner
    • Cordinate Consultant event communications plans for local markets
    • Attend and represent Consultant events where necessary, both UK and worldwide (Once or twice a year)

    Social Media (35%)

    • Moderate; alongside Consultant Support; the official in-market Consultant Facebook groups daily- escalating to Consultant Support and Country Managers where necessary
    • Plan, edit and write content for European Facebook fan pages

    You Should Have:

    • 5 years proven marketing, communications, or promotions experience in a consumer goods, fashion, or retail business
    • Experience working within marketing value delivery processes, frameworks, or systems (e.g. Pragmatic Marketing or similar model)
    • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, social media marketing or a related field preferred
    • Additional language- German, Spanish, French, Dutch, preferred

    Things You Should Know & Be Able To Do:

    • Demonstrated presentation, writing, and editing skills
    • Strong understanding of Direct Selling Industry (comp plans, policies, procedures)
    • Strong project and program management fundamentals
    • Ability to work both independently and as a team member
    • Ability to gain buy-in from key stakeholders through communication, organisation, transparency, and a collaborative and positive approach
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously in fast-paced environment
    • Ability to contribute equally well during strategy/planning phases, and while overseeing execution
    • Ability to work seamlessly, collaboratively, and positively across teams and functional boundaries
    • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute integrated marketing plans that meet success metrics, are delivered on time, and on budget
