Scentsy is looking for an IT Operations Systems Support Analyst to be at the front-line for issue identification, troubleshooting, project break-down, and remediation for any IT-Operational response. Analysts are expected to navigate multiple levels of management within and outside of IT Operations. This role ensures the stability of systems and functions to ensure success in meeting IT Operations Service Level Agreements. 

 

What You Would Do:

  • Provide system alternatives and options for internal requests based on system capabilities
  • Verify systems requirements and develop timelines
  • Identify, collaborate, gather, and document department work requests
  • Provide User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with the department stakeholder
  • Manage the execution and implementation of technology changes within IT Operations
  • Regularly communicate issue resolution, reporting, and testing to senior leadership
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with cross-functional teams
  • Work closely with Operations leadership to communicate impacts and report on necessary issues where there is an impact to Operations, represent critical business initiatives as the subject matter expert related to systems and/or processes, and collaborate with business partners to execute on process improvement plans
  • Work cross-functionally to mitigate risk for large project production changes
  • Respond to critical infrastructure system issues and provide analysis to ensure timely resolution
  • Ensure timely and accurate information is communicated to support for decision making
  • Facilitate work estimation
  • Participate in daily stand-ups, verifying ticket progress and resolving questions or concerns from the development community
  • Balance and prioritize current sprint work with long lead investigation and urgent break-fix issues
  • Anticipate business needs, organize, prioritize, and delegate to ensure the success of multiple initiatives in a timely manner
  • Perform all other assigned tasks and requirements as needed

Our Ideal Candidate Has:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer information Systems, related field, or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience preferred
  • Training related to Agile and Sprint methodology preferred
  • Strong decision-making skills, self-motivated
  • Strong prioritizations skills with the ability to manage multiple competing tasks and deliverables
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

You Should Be Able To:

  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Work effectively as part of a team, fostering team cooperation and collaboration
  • Make decisions that may impact Operations while maintaining firm deliverables and prioritizing resources within Operations and Technology
  • Translate user needs into requirements to guide development of solutions
  • Exhibit knowledge of project management methodology milestones, and deliverables management
  • Exhibit knowledge of current web-design trends, techniques, and technologies
  • Work at a computer station and view a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Work is generally sedentary in nature but may require walking or standing up to 10% of the time
