Scentsy is looking to hire a Shipping Supervisor to work at ourclimate-controlled warehouse in Lexington, KY! This person will be responsible for overseeing all Shipping Operations including picking, packing, and special projects, as well as provide guidance and leadership to the Shipping staff.   This is a Grave shift position, hours are 11:00pm-7:00am   Come work with an awesome team of people and a great company that values its employees! We offer competitive benefits, including medical/dental/vision, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and reimbursement for gym membership.   WHAT YOU WOULD DO: - Oversee shipping floor workflow to ensure optimum service levels are met or exceeded - Resolve shipping related issues ensuring orders are picked, packed, and shipped properly - Work cross-functionally with other departments and shifts to stay updated on all matters that will affect the Shipping department - Monitor shipping trucks to ensure they are fully loaded on time and communicate with shipping vendor regarding pickup information - Monitor shipping practices to ensure highest possible efficiencies to avoid unnecessary shipping costs are incurred - Monitor recycling waste equipment levels and communicate recycling needs to other co-leaders and vendors as needed - Act as a resource to other departments by providing strong customer service - Understand, perform, and train all pertinent functions of all jobs within the Shipping department - Review department data, compile department metrics, and review workers’ activities to set standard requirements and report to management - Work with leadership to ensure execution of operational directives, including planning and strategy, to optimize efficiency for all involved - Handle personnel issues for both temporary employees and fulltime regular employees and effectively and accurately document incidents relating or contributing to personnel issues - Manage staff by selecting, orientating, training, coaching, counseling, monitoring attendance, and developing personal growth opportunities for employees - Responsible for supervising employees which includes; hires, terminations, demotions, performance appraisals, disciplinary actions, and other employee related functions - Create and edit department SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) and ensure employees are properly trained according to them - Promote and maintain a safe and secure work environment   YOU SHOULD HAVE: - High school diploma or equivalent - Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent distribution center experience - 2+ years of experience in a distribution environment with 2+ years of experience in a leadership role - Solid computer skills, with the ability to learn all applicable software - Knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) Systems, SAP preferred   TO BE SUCCESSFUL, YOU’LL NEED: - Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate, stimulate, and inspire employees to maximize their efforts in productivity and quality - Well-developed interpersonal communications skills (written & verbal) with the ability to effectively and sensitively address employee concerns - Time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, as well as a strong attention to detail - Outstanding organizational skills with both system and manual sort environments - Good conflict resolution skills with a sense of when to approach a situation head on or when to defer to leadership while maintaining a level-headed approach - Strong analytical and research aptitude   YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO: - Apply logical thinking to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions - Demonstrate initiative and make decisions that will impact the quality and timely completion of work - Understand both kitting and the shipping processes - Work in a stressful and often complex shipping environment - Work at a computer station and view a computer screen for extended periods of time as well as work frequently around moving equipment - Read and comprehend, write, perform calculations, communicate orally, and occasionally reason and analyze - Frequently bend, squat, stand, walk, push and pull, reach above shoulder level, have both arms and legs accessible, and perform repetitive manual dexterity - Stand/walk for extended periods of time in a fast-paced, loud environment - Lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively

Scentsy has several TEMPORARY openings at its climate controlled warehouse in Lexington, Kentucky! As a Seasonal Shipping Operator, you would pick and pack orders to ship to Scentsyconsultants and customers. Efficiency and accuracy is the name of the game in this job.    Base pay is $13.25/hour. Available schedules are Monday-Friday:   - Day shift: 7:00am-2:45pm  - Swing shift: 3:00pm-10:45pm (additional $0.75/hr shift differential) - Grave shift: 11:00pm-6:45am (additional $1.75/hr shift differential)   Come work with an awesome team of people and a great company that values its employees! We offer competitive benefits, including medical/dental/vision, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and reimbursement for gym membership. We are also big fans of ice cream.    WHAT YOU WOULD DO - Pick products from established zones based on information provided on pick tickets - Review order, exchange defective product or locate missing product to ensure order is satisfied completely - Scan, assemble and pack product utilizing appropriate containers and materials - Print and affix shipping labels on packed boxes - Verify packed product weight and shipping label matches order in computer system - Maintain workflow through pack stations while maintaining accuracy and pace   THINGS YOU SHOULD HAVE   - High school diploma or equivalent - Be 18 years or older - Previous relevant experience would be great, but is not required - Working knowledge of computers and applicable software - Clear and direct verbal communication skills - A positive attitude, and customer service focused   YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO   - Work 40 hours per week - when business is booming, some overtime may be required! - Perform basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction, etc.) - Read and recognize numbers - Lift 50+ pounds repeatedly on a daily basis and stand and walk for extended periods of time. Must also be able to bend, squat, push/pull, reach above shoulder level, and perform repetitive manual dexterity - Follow detailed instructions and make decisions within a limited scope - Solve straightforward problems and seek guidance as needed - Adhere to all established procedures, policies and safety rules as outlined by the Company –we want you to be safe and successful!

As a Shipping Operator, you would pick and pack orders to ship to Scentsy consultants and customers. Efficiency and accuracy is the name of the game in this job. These openings do have the ability to turn into permanent positions.   Base pay is $13.25/hour.Available schedules are Monday-Friday: - Day Shift - 6:30am to 2:15pm  - Swing Shift - 2:30pm to 10:15pm (additional $0.75/hr shift differential) - Grave Shift - 10:30pm to 6:15am (additional $1.75/hr shift differential) Come work with an awesome team of people and a great company that values its employees! We offer competitive benefits, including medical/dental/vision, 401k match, tuition reimbursement, and reimbursement for gym membership.
